Superior Grill serves authentic Mexican food in a laid-back atmosphere. Go on Thursdays to watch men and women try to hook up. Take the kids on Friday or Saturday night because their antics won't disturb the boisterous crowd. 225 recommends the Crazy Javier steak for lunch. Pay extra to get a premium margarita because the cheap stuff will hurt your head.

This place can get very loud, (band plus a lot of people) but its a fun atmosphere. Great margaritas. Definately a great place for a girls night. Probably the best mexican place in Baton Rouge.

There are several wonderful restaurants in this town and this place is up there with the best. My family and I had the greatest time and the price for a family of four was very reasonable on the wallet. Superior Grill - you are the best.

Superior Grill is my and my wife's favorite restaurant. The food and the service are the best, never had a bad meal or bad service there. It's the only Mexican restaurant in Baton Rouge we'll go to.

My wife and I went to Superior Grill today and the experience wasn't up to what we were used to. For one thing, it took nearly 20 minutes just to get a server to take our order and she didn't even ask what we wanted to drink, we had to ask about drinks. The next thing was she came back to our table twice to ask what our order was. Then we waited and waited for our food and when we got it, it was lukewarm. My wife had requested no sour cream and there was sour cream on the plate. The food didn't have as much flavor as it normally does, and the rice tasted like it had been around for a little while. We've been going there for 12 years and have never seen anything like this. We may be writing them off our list from now on.

We have been going to Superior Grill for several years and never did we ever have a problem here. Each time that we come here - we feel like we're family. There are many bad mexican food resturants in Baton Rouge...my family and I have probably visited most of them. They may slip up from time to time, but they are always on our list of good places to eat.
