What we’re doing – Catching up with our contributors this month

Lee Feinswog: “I’ll be going to Palo Alto for Labor Day weekend to watch Stanford, Penn State, Illinois and UCLA play women’s college volleyball for Volleyball magazine. I’m also taking an online PhotoShop class.”

Sean Illing: “I’ll begin teaching International Law at ULL. I plan to soak up all that Lafayette has to offer. It is, after all, the happiest city in America.'”

April Capochino Myers: “We are going to swing into September! I am a huge fan of BREC parks, and in September I’m making it a goal to take my kids to each of the parks across Baton Rouge to check out the different playgrounds.”

Collin Richie: “After spending two months in South America, I am committed to building on my Spanish and becoming truly bilingual. Between audio guides, apps and a stray class here and there, I’m setting a goal for one year to learn the language, and I’m starting this month.”

Kaci Yoder: “I’ll be spending my month listening to the latest album by My Brightest Diamond and settling into my new house in Southdowns. It has a perfect porch for flower boxes, so I’m trying to convince an herb garden to stay alive for me. Hello, fresh rosemary.”
