Cupcake Allie’s inviting, baby blue food truck has been visible on its weekly runs downtown and at its off-hours parking spot on Perkins and Acadian. But what diners might not have realized is that the bakery’s storefront is now open, too.
Cupcake Allie launched its store at 3753 Perkins Rd. in late last year in the development fronted by Uncle Earl’s next door to Juban’s.
Things have apparently been going well for the new venture. The bake shop offers classic sweet flavors and one savory flavor a day, such as Nutella and pork rind. There’s also a king cake cupcake during carnival season.
