Brandts together again

Speaking of Brandt’s Maisonette, Chef Eric Brandt is now working side-by-side with his brother and chef Greg (pictured) at Brandt’s Maisonette on Government Street. Eric, who after high school went away for his culinary training, returned and for years helped his father run Chalet Brandt. Greg moved to New Orleans and then the Big Apple where he worked in big-time restaurants. For the past 6 years Greg and wife Paula Brandt have invited diners into their cozy Government Street retreat for gourmet French cuisine. Paula now returns to the front of the house as hostess as Eric has joined Greg in the restaurant’s efficient two-man kitchen. (Photo by David Gallent)
