Unique Cuisine welcomes new chef

Unique Cuisine, a catering company at the Cook Hotel and Conference Center at LSU, announced last week that it has hired a new executive chef.

Josh Robin will now handle Unique Cuisine’s on-site and off-site catering services. In a press release, the company says Robin’s arrival will bring “a fresh, new perspective to the company while building upon Unique Cuisine’s distinct menus, flavors and longtime customer favorites.”

Robin previously worked at Galatoire’s Bistro and Cafe Des Amis in Breaux Bridge. During his time with Copeland’s of New Orleans, Robin was also responsible for opening restaurants in Louisiana, Houston, Orlando, Annapolis, Las Vegas and Chicago. His work was also featured in The New York Times and Louisiana Cookin’ magazine.
