Quarters, home to the extreme triple burger, is pulling out all the stops to impress guests.

The restaurant and gaming venue at 4530 South Sherwood Forest Blvd. has just started its Sunday gospel and jazz brunch. Each Sunday will have a different musical performer. Eric Baskin performs this weekend, May 31.

The event runs 10 a.m.-3 p.m. A $20 entry fee covers the buffet, which includes shrimp and grits, grilled salmon, an omelet station, chicken and waffles and grilled chicken. Endless mimosas are also offered for $10 per person.

Quarters’ sales and marketing manager Keidrick Alford says the brunch started as a way to treat the management team to something special.

“We are always working; so, we wanted something we could all do together as a management team,” Alford says. “It was a wonderful experience. We thought, ‘Let’s do this for everybody.'”
