Lafayette resident, history professor and boudin/king cake critic Robert Carriker has created a boudin king cake, according to a story from The Daily Advertiser. The sweet and salty treat is topped with Steen’s cane syrup and cracklin crumbs. Zoe’s Kitchen coming to Highland Park Marketplace center
Zoe’s Kitchen is planning its third Baton Rouge location in the burgeoning Highland Park Marketplace retail center at the corner of Highland and Old Perkins roads, according to a story from Daily Report. The center is adjacent to Alexander’s Highland Market and will have three buildings, totaling 72,000 square feet. Real estate agent George Kurz says the new retail spot will be similar to Bocage Village. Read the full story.
