It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Comic Con 2014! Here’s a little secret about us. We’re super into the Marvel and DC world. Charlie lives for Loki and the Joker, and Samantha dies for Captain America and Wolverine. So naturally we followed the men and their fashion at Comic Con in San Diego this past week. Here are a few good and evil (mwahaha!) trends that we noticed among the heroes:
What better place to wear a graphic tee than a comic convention? We love graphic tees because you can literally grab them any day of the week. Dress them up with a blazer like Jensen Ackles (from Supernatural, pictured) or go casual like Aaron Taylor-Johnson (from Avengers: Age of Ultron, pictured right) and pair it with some dark, fitted jeans. You can buy cool graphic tees from Target and Urban Outfitters, or drive on over to H&M in New Orleans and pick a few up.
Leather jackets are our kryptonite. It’s too hot right now, but as we transition into the fall season, be on the lookout for this trend. It’s a staple for date night or boys’ night. Notice how Matthew McConaughey (from Interstellar, pictured) and Damon Wayans Jr. (from Let’s Be Cops, pictured) sport their leather jackets over a simple tee. It’s rugged and classic. Oh, and don’t be afraid of thinking outside the box and purchasing a colored leather jacket. We’re especially into army green or maroon.
