Twenty years of coverage has proven something undeniable: There’s always something interesting going on in Baton Rouge. Over the last two decades, we’ve seen the expansion of festivals, community events, restaurants, arts and entertainment venues, and outdoor fun, creating a near-endless list of things to do.

Downtown Baton Rouge and Mid City have become serious entertainment hubs, and Tiger Stadium swelled to more than 102,000 seats. The region added scores of new eateries, many representing buzzy food trends. We completed the state-of-the-art Main Library at Goodwood, the Water Campus, and many new or improved parks and bike trails.
