Last call for 2016 Best of 225 Awards nominations

Friday, Feb. 26, is the final day to nominate your Baton Rouge favorites for the 2016 Best of 225 Awards.

Nominations have been open since Feb. 1. The people and businesses with the most nominations will compete for the 2016 awards on the final ballot, which will be open to the public for voting from March 14 to April 8.

Here’s a sampling of a few of the categories up for nominations:

Food & Drink: Tell us where to find the best Brunch, Crawfish, Gumbo, Happy Hour, Pizza, Sushi and more.

People & Entertainment: Tell us who is the best Chef, Local Athlete and Local Celebrity, as well as the Best Bar to Watch Sports, Best Community Event and more.

Shopping & Services: We want to know your picks for the best Blowout Bar, Grocery Store, Market for Seafood, Tattoo Shop and more.
