Capital Region independent bookstores offer a range of titles and events
A robust reading renaissance is currently playing out across the Capital Region, with new openings, expansions and a proliferation of book clubs and events.
Red Stick Reads’ new location, which opened in May, is almost double the size of its previous home, featuring reading nooks, a coffee bar and meeting space for book clubs. It joins newcomer TBR Books and Tea, which debuted in Baton Rouge in early April, and longtime indie booksellers like The Conundrum, Cavalier House Books and The Bookceller.
Here’s where to find them.
