Dine Roundup: Summer wine walk, food trucks and more events in Baton Rouge this week

Get wine walking tomorrow

It’s time for Wine Walk Wednesday‘s Summer Opener this Wednesday, May 29. Head downtown at 5:30 p.m. for the wine walk starting at the Bald Eagle Pub. Sip your way through six downtown venues, tasting two wines at each stop.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here. The Bald Eagle Pub is at 140 Main St.


Watch the sunset at L’Auberge this Thursday while sipping on cocktails

Sip on a cocktail by the rooftop pool at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel at the Cocktails at Sunset event Thursday, May 30. For $10, you can enjoy tasty bites while sampling the four best drinks mixed up by some of Baton Rouge’s cocktail experts. Vote for your favorite in the Cocktails at Sunset competition.

Head to Perkins Rowe for a night of live music and some of your food truck favorites at Tunes & Trucks Friday, May 31. Grab a bite from Curbside, Pullin’ Pork Baton Rouge, Vegan Meets Soul and Sneaux Angels Sneaux Balls while listening to music by Caleb Paul.

Tunes & Trucks is 6-9 p.m. Perkins Rowe is at 10000 Perkins Rowe.
