Get wine walking tomorrow

It’s time for Wine Walk Wednesday‘s Summer Opener this Wednesday, May 29. Head downtown at 5:30 p.m. for the wine walk starting at the Bald Eagle Pub. Sip your way through six downtown venues, tasting two wines at each stop.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here. The Bald Eagle Pub is at 140 Main St.

Watch the sunset at L’Auberge this Thursday while sipping on cocktails

Sip on a cocktail by the rooftop pool at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel at the Cocktails at Sunset event Thursday, May 30. For $10, you can enjoy tasty bites while sampling the four best drinks mixed up by some of Baton Rouge’s cocktail experts. Vote for your favorite in the Cocktails at Sunset competition.

The event is 6-8 p.m. Check out the final four cocktails and more information about the event here. L’Auberge Hotel & Casino is at 777 L’Auberge Ave.

Fill up on food truck grub at Perkins Rowe Friday

Head to Perkins Rowe for a night of live music and some of your food truck favorites at Tunes & Trucks Friday, May 31. Grab a bite from Curbside, Pullin’ Pork Baton Rouge, Vegan Meets Soul and Sneaux Angels Sneaux Balls while listening to music by Caleb Paul.

Tunes & Trucks is 6-9 p.m. Perkins Rowe is at 10000 Perkins Rowe.

Learn to be a cake decorating master this weekend

Become a whiz with a piping nozzle at a cake decorating class at CounterspaceBR Saturday, June 1. Hone your cake decorating skills 10 a.m.-noon.

Brunch with the girls this Saturday

Get your brunch on this Saturday, June 1, at the My Girl and Me Brunch with a Twist event. Network with other brunchgoers while you dine at this event hosted by I-CAN Women’s Empowerment noon-2 p.m.
