The event will feature an 800-square-foot tent decked out in chandeliers, according to the Facebook event page.

Entry is free. More information on available beers, giveaways and competitions are available on the event page. The Bulldog is at 4385 Perkins Road.

‘Relief at the Rowe’ is this Saturday

The Perkins Rowe Arts Festival, now in its 7th year, will be a bit different this time.

On Saturday, Sept. 24, the festival will be paired with “Relief at the Rowe—A Day for Our Community.” From 10 a.m. to close, the funds will go toward St. Vincent de Paul’s House in a Box. The organization works to donate home items to households who lost everything in the recent floods.

Multiple retailers and restaurants in the Rowe will be donating portions of their earnings that day to a local charity, according to a press release.

“Perkins Rowe’s generosity will serve those whose lives have been dramatically devastated by the floods,” St. Vincent de Paul CEO Michael Acaldo says in a press release.
