The local museum shines with this latest exhibit and opening reception. The Louisiana Art & Science Museum hosts an exhibition party Thursday 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. for its latest display, “American Brilliant Period Cut Glass: A Silver Lining.” The free event allows patrons to see dozens of silver-adorned cut and engraved glass objects in the museum’s lower main gallery.
