Take a walk with the birds

Enjoy the view at BREC’s Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center this weekend. The park, at 10502 N. Oak Hills Parkway, hosts A Walk with the Birds Saturday 7 a.m.-9 a.m. During the event, participants can go on a morning hike through the forest and swamp while identifying various bird species. A member of the Baton Rouge Audubon Society will lead the walk and share bird-watching techniques and tips. Admission is $3. For more information, call 757-8905.
