Frameworks Gallery (8501 Highland Road) hosts a free opening reception Friday 6 p.m.-9 p.m. for a new exhibit featuring works from Jovann Armstrong, Meichi Lee and Mitchell Long. The collection shows off each artist’s knack for traditional and contemporary south Louisiana landscape painting. Works will be displayed through Oct. 7 and can be viewed at the gallery Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Get more information and RSVP.
