See local musicians ‘Drop the Needle’ on J.J. Cale
Clay Parker, Jamye St. Romain, Denton Hatcher and many more celebrate J.J. Cale’s 1972 classic Naturally this week. The show will be Drop the Needle’s final performance inside Chelsea’s Café’s side bar and takes place Thursday 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Admission is $10. After this show, the monthly concert series will move to Hartley/Vey Theatres in November for a performance of The Beatles’ White Album Friday, Nov. 28. This week’s show includes an ensemble featuring Bill Romano, Ben Herrington, Jessica Ottaviano and other local musicians. Naturally is the debut album from Cale and includes classic songs such as “After Midnight,” “Call Me the Breeze” and “Clyde.” RSVP and get more information.
