Performances of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ start Sunday

Eric Carle’s classic story comes to life this weekend. A live-action puppetry performance of Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar takes place at the Manship Theatre Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20. The story focuses the caterpillar’s metamorphosis into a beautiful butterfly and is performed by the Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia. Manship Theatre will also host a Kids Club event before the show at 12:30 p.m. where children can meet the puppeteers and enjoy snacks. Tickets for the Kids Club event are $10 (free for members).
