Hear classic tunes at ‘Smokey Joe’s Café’

Broadway comes to Baton Rouge this week. The River Center hosts a performance of the Tony-nominated and Grammy Award-winning Smokey Joe’s Café Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $32. The production salutes the songwriting team of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller and features hits such as “Hound Dog,” “Love Potion No. 9” and many more. This musical revue opened on Broadway in 1995.
