Go on a haunting hike in the swamp

Halloween arrives early at the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center. The BREC park at 10503 N. Oak Hills Parkway hosts a Swamp Haunted Hike Friday 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. The event is appropriate for all ages, and participants can come dressed in their costumes. During the hike, they will learn about snakes, insects and other creepy critters along the trail. Admission is free for ages 2 and younger, $2 for ages 3-17, and $3 for ages 18-64.
