Galatoire’s Bistro is pairing chef Kelley McCann’s culinary creations with a notable California winery at an upcoming dinner.
The restaurant at 3535 Perkins Road is hosting a five-course Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars wine dinner Tuesday, July 28. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 7 p.m. Dinner follows at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person. To make reservations, call 753-4864.
Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is a winery in Napa Valley, California, that was founded in 1970 and is best known for its estate-grown cabernet sauvignons. Check out the menu:

- Hors d’oeuvres: Crispy bacon-wrapped oysters with remoulade, smoked trout croquettes and Sherry vinegar-marinated figs and aged goat cheese, paired with Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Réserve, Épernay NV
- First course: Seared tuna belly with yellow wax beans, haricots verts, citrus confit and tarragon butter, paired with Sauvignon Blanc “Aveta,” Napa Valley 2013
- Second course: Vanilla-poached lobster with carrot and radish salad, grilled pineapple and toasted coconut, paired with Chardonnay “Karia,” Napa Valley 2013

- Fourth course: Coffee-crusted ribeye spinalis with creamy orzo and wild mushrooms, paired with Cabernet Sauvignon “S.L.V.,” Napa Valley 2012
- Dessert course: Luxardo cherry and chocolate brioche pudding with vanilla bean ice cream, paired with Red Blend “Hands of Time,” Napa Valley 2012
