Don’t miss the CANstruction Competition

Teams of designers, builders and other groups are putting the final touches on their structures for the annual competition at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum. The structures are made entirely from cans of nonperishable food items. The exhibit kicks off its run Thursday with an award reception 7 p.m.-9 p.m. For tickets call 936-5215. The display will be open through Sept. 12. Once the display closes, all food will be donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. For more information, click here.
