Don’t miss the Crawfish King Cook-Off May 1

If you like a good crawfish boil, you’ll want to head downtown this weekend.

The second Crawfish King Cook-Off comes to the Capital City Friday, May 1, at 4 p.m. near the backstage area of Live After Five. Around 50 teams will be participating in the event, which pits local boilers against each other to see who makes the best crawfish in town. Awards will be announced from the Live After Five stage at 6:40 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for all-you-can-eat boiled crawfish. For children ages 10 and younger, tickets are $10.

Proceeds from the event support the Big Buddy Program and Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge.
