Blend hosts Tour of Italy dinner next week

Blend is taking patrons all around Italy next week. The wine bar is hosting a five-course wine dinner, dubbed Tour of Italy, Tuesday, March 31, at 7 p.m. The dinner is $75 per person. To make your reservation, email [email protected] or call 757-5645.

Check out the full menu below.

First course: Roasted garlic and pistachio bruschetta with gorgonzola, fig compote, olive oil and Parmesan chip, paired with Lamberti extra dry Prosecco.
Second course: Pan-seared scallops over mixed greens with lemon-caper vinaigrette, crispy shallots and pickled radish, paired with La Scolca Gavi 2013.
Third course: Spaghetti and meatballs with hand-rolled pasta, rustic Creole tomato sauce and fresh basil, paired with Melini San Lorenzo Chianti 2013.
Fourth course: Osso Bucco Milanese with risotto allo zafferano, paired with Fattori dei Bari Brunello di Montalcino 2008.
Fifth course: Espresso-coated Torta di Cioccolato, paired with Tenuta Rapitala Campo Reale Sicilia 2013.
