Party by the pool Tuesday

5 to 9 club is hosting a pool party at the Country Club of Louisiana on Tuesday, June 2, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Expect a DJ, light bites and signature mocktails at this poolside bash. 

Tickets are available online. The Country Club of Louisiana is located at 18400 Boulevard Louisiane.

Attend a free gallery opening Wednesday

On Wednesday, June 3, the Baton Rouge Gallery holds a First Wednesday Opening Reception from 6 to 9 p.m.

The opening will feature the newest works from BRG exhibiting artist members Randell Henry, David Scott Smith and John Isiah Walton. 

First Wednesdays are free to attend. The Baton Rouge Gallery is located at 1515 Dalrymple Dr. 


Shop vintage finds Wednesday

Time Warp Boutique is holding a Shop for a Cause event benefiting the Baton Rouge Gallery on Wednesday, June 3.

The store will be open for extra hours from 4 to 7 p.m. Guests can shop the store and a curated selection of specialty vintage items, with 15% of all sales going to the BRG. 

Sips and snacks will be provided by Redcake Events. Time Warp Boutique is located at 3001 Government St. 


Watch The Lion King Jr. Thursday

Central Community Theatre kicks off its production of The Lion King Jr. on Thursday at Manship Theatre. 

The play will run from Thursday to Sunday, and its first performance begins at 6:30 p.m.
