LSU Hilltop Arboretum’s Discover Nature Series welcomes Louisiana Master Naturalist Teri Gegenheimer to speak about insects and how gardeners can create landscapes that support the ecosystem on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Stop by to learn about native plants, pollinator conservation and creating a healthy garden.
The presentation will be held in Hilltop’s Beverly Brown Coates Auditorium, located at 11855 Highland Rd. Tickets are $15 for the public.

See country artist Dylan Gossett perform live at the Texas Club on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Gossett is touring North America after the release of his debut album Westward, and he is stopping in Baton Rouge.

Grammy Award-winning parody artist Weird Al Yankovic is coming to the Raising Cane’s River Center on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Experience the singer’s comedy rock hits and famed parodies live at 7:30 p.m.

Support the farmers market Thursday
On Friday, Sept. 24, Farm Fête brings together local chefs, artists, musicians, and foodies to indulge in delicious bites and drinks.
