Watch a meteor shower Wednesday
Witness the Perseid meteor shower at BREC’s Highland Road Observatory on Wednesday night.
Although telescopes aren’t needed to view Perseids, a telescope will be available to view other celestial objects.
Show up to the Highland Road Observatory, located at 13800 Highland Rd., between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. for the best chance to witness this phenomenon.
Listen to soul music live Thursday
Nashville-based soul artist Jed Harrelson will play at Chelsea’s Live with opener Them Ol Ghosts on Thursday, Aug.13 at 8 p.m.
The artist’s sound features a unique blend of soul, rock and R&B.
