Support Capital City Alliance at 8th annual charity drag show Oct. 13

Head to Splash Nightclub tomorrow night for “kings, queens and everything in-between” as Capital City Alliance hosts its 8th annual charity drag show.

Capital City Alliance is an all-volunteer organization aiming to improve the quality of life of LGBT people and their allies in the greater Baton Rouge area through education, communication, advocacy and community building.

The drag show is CCA’s longest-standing event. These shows serve as fundraisers, allowing the organization to continue to work in the community.  

CCA tries to create a space for all types of drag, including drag queens, drag kings and bio drag. New and veteran performers are welcome.

The alliance promotes and hosts events, advocates for laws and policies, and identifies LGBT-friendly professional resources and establishments including wedding vendors, businesses and realtors.

Capital City Alliance’s 8th Annual Charity Drag Show, Kings, Queens & Everything In-between will be 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at Splash. Tickets will be $10 at the door. Splash Nightclub is at 2183 Highland Road.
