Stop by Sunday in the Park this weekend for high-energy band Souled Out
The six-piece funk/soul/dance band Souled Out will be rocking the Red Stick this Sunday, Oct. 8, at Sunday in the Park.
The event, which is partly sponsored by 225, is a free outdoor concert series held each spring and fall.
Souled Out, hailing from Virginia, combines “soulful lead vocals” and “sweet flowing harmonies” for a unique sound. Playing each show with a motto of “Souled Out wore me out,” the band’s set list includes country, rock, funk, slow songs, R&B and top 40 hits.

The group has performed with R&B horn band Tower of Power, funky Scottish group Average White Band and once opened for the Rock and Soul Revue, which included a performance from Hall & Oates.
Concert-goers can purchase food from Stroubes Seafood Steaks and Capital City Grill Downtown. Manship Theatre’s outdoor full bar will be serving happy hour specials and classic brunch cocktails.
Catch the show at 2 p.m. this Sunday at the Shaw Center for the Arts Plaza, 100 Lafayette St.
