Sample dozens of craft beers Oct. 6 at the fourth annual Brew at the Zoo

Head to the Baton Rouge Zoo tomorrow, Oct. 6, for a wild night of beer tastings at the fourth annual Brew at the Zoo.

The evening will also include food tastings and live music from country artist Michael Brandt and country/contemporary/rock musician Sara Collins.

Event-goers will be able to sample dozens of craft beers, from the likes of Mockler, Crescent Crown, LA Homebrew, Redstick Brewmasters and Bicycle Brew Club, while munching on pub favorites.

Caterers include Mason’s Grill, Your Mom’s Restaurant & Bar, BRQ Seafood & Barbeque, Crowne Plaza Catering, The Overpass Merchant, Ninja Snowballs, Raising Cane’s, Stadium Sports Bar & Grill, Pete’s Lagniappe Catering and Flamingo Café. This year, not only will there be food tastings, but full portions as well.

You must buy a ticket in advance. General admission tickets, which include entry, a souvenir cup and access to all food and beverages, cost $25. A designated driver ticket, which includes entry and access to all food, soda and water, costs $20.

Brew at the Zoo will be held Oct. 6, 6-9 p.m. Guests must be 21 or older. The Baton Rouge Zoo is at 3601 Thomas Road.
