Meet ‘Stranger Things’ actors at Of Moving Colors’ season kickoff party Sept. 29

“Stranger things have happened than a dance company surviving for more than 30 years.” That’s the tagline for the Of Moving Colors’ season kickoff party—where, perhaps, the “strangest” occurrence of all will be the opportunity to meet two actors from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.

Celebrate the local contemporary dance-theater organization’s new season tomorrow, Sept. 29, 7-10 p.m., at its season kickoff party at Ann Connelly Fine Art.

Party-goers will have the opportunity to meet Stranger Things cast members Joe Chrest and Peyton Wich.

Mestizo will be serving speciality cocktails, and Kalurah Street Grill will be offering hors d’oeuvres and a gourmet waffle bar. Guests can also enjoy games and an auction featuring a variety of items, including signed Saints memorabilia and a private dinner for 12 by Jay Ducote.

OMC’s first production of the 2017-2018 season is Nevermore, a collection of works inspired by Edgar Allen Poe, to be performed Oct. 13.

Kickoff party tickets are available here. Non-seated tickets are $75, seated are $100 and a VIP table for 10 is $1,000.

Those with seated tickets can enjoy fringe benefits, including an exclusive preview of a menu item from Cocha chef Jourdan Fulbright.
