Everyone has their own go-to spot—their own version of Cafe du Monde—where you have your order memorized, know you can afford it, how good it’ll taste and that you’re among friends. “Meanwhile, Back at Cafe du Monde” will try to take you back to that place—whether it be a taco truck, coffee shop or steakhouse.
This live food story show originated in Baton Rouge and has now swept the country. The bestselling cookbook of the same name was released in 2012 and has been endorsed by chefs Emeril Lagasse and John Besh.
Tickets are $45 and include a three-course meal. Cocktails and wine are not included in the ticket price, but will be available for purchase. To purchase a ticket, call 349-8895 or email [email protected].
“Meanwhile, Back at Cafe du Monde” will be held Sunday, 6-9 p.m. at Eliza Baton Rouge, at 7970 Jefferson Highway.
