BATON ROUGE POOLS

Anna T. Jordan Community Park

General admission fee: $1.25

Blue Bayou Water Park
18142 Perkins Road
General admission fees: $36.99 (48 inches and taller); $29.99 (under 48 inches, and senior citizens). Those under 35 inches tall get free admission.

Includes the relaxing Lazy River, Hurricane Bay with 3- to 4-foot waves rolling out every 10 minutes, and Pirate’s Cove, an interactive water play area complete with water cannons.

City-Brooks Community Park
1515 Dalrymple Drive
General admission fee: $1.25

Serves a larger geographic area than a neighborhood park and is designed to engage the entire family for a whole day. In addition to a swimming pool, also includes a splash pad.

Forest Community Park
13900 South Harrell’s Ferry Road

This park includes a splash pad.

Highland Road Community Park
14024 Highland Road

This park includes a splash pad. The scenic landscape makes it a popular park.

Howell Community Park
5509 Winbourne Ave.
General admission fee: $1.25
One of BREC’s oldest and busiest parks.

Liberty Lagoon Water Park
111 Lobdell Ave.
General admission fees: $12 (48 inches and taller); $10 (under 48 inches tall)

Sign up for Paddle Up 1 and learn to paddle a sea kayak at Liberty Lagoon. You must pre-register. Payment of $10 per person per class will be taken the morning of the class.

Repentance Park
225 South River Road
Includes fountains with 750 jets.


CAPITAL REGION POOLS

Denham Springs North Park Aqua PARDS
30372 Eden Church Road, Denham Springs
Admission fee: $5 (in district); $8 (out of district); Children under 30 inches are free.

The largest of the parks in the Denham park system, with more than 110 acres. The park’s multipurpose Fitness & Aquatics Facility includes a six-lane indoor pool and the Aqua PARDS splash park.

Greenwood Community Park
13350 Highway 19, Baker

This park includes a splash pad. You can also fish, kayak or canoe in the 18-acre lake at the park.

Jackson Community Park
12250 Sullivan Road, Central

This park includes a spray pad.

Jambalaya Park
1015 E. Cornerview St., Gonzales
Pool admission fees: $5 Monday-Friday; $7 Saturday-Sunday

Includes a spray park (admission is free).

Zachary Community Park
20055 Old Scenic Highway, Zachary

This park includes a splash pad.
