Celebrate ingenuity and creativity at Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week next week

Calling all entrepreneurs, side hustlers, dreamers and thinkers: Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week kicks off next Tuesday, Nov. 14.

This three-day conference, presented with the Baton Rouge Area Chamber and the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report, will feature a variety of events and activities, including demos, educational lunches, pitch competitions and a chance for angel investors to see new business opportunities.

This year’s keynote speaker is Ryan Holiday, a renowned media strategist, marketer and author. He has published five books, one of which is a Wall Street Journal bestseller. He is currently serving as a media columnist and editor-at-large for the New York Observer. 

Jeff Moulton, president and CEO of LSU’s non-profit applied research and development corporation, Nascent Technologies Corporation, will also be speaking. He is responsible for focusing research, business development, building technical teams and coordinating information operations across the university.

All events will be held in downtown Baton Rouge. The Gallery at Manship in the Shaw Center of the Arts will house the registration desk and lounge area. Additional event locations include Lava Cantina, Roux House, Blend, Magpie Café, The Watermark, Emergent Method, Red Six Media, Cornerstone Government Affairs and the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.

Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week will begin next Tuesday, Nov. 14. The series concludes Thursday, Nov. 16.
