Bach meets beer tomorrow night. Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra is hosting Bachtoberfest, a family-friendly outdoor concert of compositions by German musician Johann Sebastian Bach, one of the most prolific classical composers of all time.
Some of the compositions that will be showcased include “Air on the G String,” “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” and “Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring.”
Attendees will have a chance to meet the BRSO musicians. The event will also feature gourmet food and beer trucks.
Bachtoberfest will kick off at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 13. The concert will be held in the Capitol Park Museum’s covered outdoor area.
