Calling all plant enthusiasts: shop for planters and swap succulents at Succulent Saturday

Calling all green thumbs! Baton Rouge Succulent Co. is receiving a shipment of brand-new varieties and, to celebrate, will be hosting Succulent Saturday & Succulent Swap this Saturday, Sept. 30.

Bring at least six cuttings or small plants with you to swap with other succulent enthusiasts. There will be giveaways throughout the day. Light food and drink will be available.

Local potter Osa Atoe will be selling her collection of ceramic planters, perfect for pairing with your favorite succulent, cacti and air plant varieties. Atoe is known for her geometric-patterned terracotta pots.

Succulent Saturday will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m., with the succulent swap beginning around 11 a.m.

Baton Rouge Succulent Co. is at 8501 Highland Road, in the courtyard at FW Gallery.
