Think Twice Style: Black as Night
I have a confession to make … this is actually loungewear. *shock face*
Sleepwear or loungewear as street clothing has been a trend for a couple of years now, and I am praying that it stays around for, well, forever. My first tastes of leisure wear were vintage muumuus. Thankfully, modern retailers have stepped up their game in offering gym-to-street and couch-to-street options.

Funny story: a few weeks ago my 8th graders were talking about how ridiculous it would be to wear pajamas to school instead of their uniforms. Instead of giving them a monologue of why university campuses are pajama central, I told them that my outfit earlier in the week was actually pajamas. My pants were pajama pants. Their faces were priceless! Totally worth revealing my secret.

Most of my luck comes in the form of pants or drapey tees. A dress is a gold mine! This option from Gap is a great buy and I can see myself wearing it all summer long. I have a slight (read: major) obsession with grey T-shirt dresses, so I chose to deviate and buy the black. Excellent decision, if I do say so myself! The fabric is super soft and drapes wonderfully, not sticking or sitting in any unwanted places. The unusual hemline is an eye-catching detail and makes it different than your everyday T-shirt dress. Add neutral accessories, or go bright and bold! The versatility of a basic black T-shirt dress for summer is endless.
