Pumped up kicks

We have all experienced days/weeks/months/years that have us so busy that being creative with our wardrobe doesn’t even make it on the “To-Do” list. When that happens, establishing something of a uniform is essential. In winter, you might stick to shades of grey or black. Sticking to a basic color scheme make choices easy and fast on hectic days.

This summer, you will find me in a variation of this outfit. Breezy cotton tee, denim bottoms, and sneakers. I am usually a Keds or Converse type of girl, but I decided to give Supergas a chance and, the verdict is in: am obsessed. Is it too much to wear these every day of the week? Maybe. But I don’t even care. I love them! When it is this hot outside (and to think it’s only the beginning of June!) easy tees are your BFF. I call them “no touchies” when shopping—those blouses that keep you covered but let you feel as free as possible. A lightweight denim is perfect when shorts are not appropriate. But sneakers? Those are always appropriate.

What is your summer uniform for beating the heat?
