Flip-flops get a bad rap. It’s a tale as old as time: Each summer, we begrudgingly slip an old pair of plastic sandals in our beach bag, ready to squeak and clack our way through the summer terrain. But maybe these slender slip-ons are not as bad as we think. We shopped around Baton Rouge and found a few flip-flops that are trendy enough to wear to brunch, let alone a day by the water.
