I remember going school supply shopping as a kid. I’d beg my mom to let me get folders printed with floral patterns instead of boring manila ones. I wanted to show my personality through the items I’d lug in my backpack every day.

So as adults, why shouldn’t we infuse a little style into our cubicles, too?

Sketch notes with a graphite pencil shaped like a Louisiana alligator, or pull tape from a rustic tape dispenser made of concrete and wood. Freshen up your space with a plant or two, and finish the look with a lamp reminiscent of your favorite industrial-style bar. After all, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.
