Nico Jones is the kind of guard who can do it all.
He’s a scoring threat with strong court vision and stout defense, and he’s played a key role in the Bears’ backcourt for some time now.
Despite battling through two major knee surgeries, the 6-foot-3 combo guard hasn’t let adversity slow him down. He was a key contributor to Catholic High’s 2023 state championship team and last season, Jones averaged 11 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 50 percent from the field, 37 percent from three and 80 percent from the stripe to earn All-District honors.
Jones is just as dedicated in the classroom as well, maintaining a 3.7 GPA while balancing his academic and athletic commitments. Whether on the court or in the classroom, he continues to set the standard at Catholic High.
