Looking at St. Joseph’s Academy’s soccer schedule is dazzling.
The Redstickers posted 14 clean sheets in 21 matches in the 2024-25 regular season, giving up multiple goals just twice all year. That’s thanks in large part to dynamic goalkeeper Avery Papania.
Her quick reflexes and dominance in the box were a big reason why SJA lost just one game in the regular season and earned the No. 1 seed in the Division I playoffs.
It may be hard to top her stellar junior campaign, the star keeper is back in 2025-26 and will be one to keep an eye on moving forward.
