LUNA Fête 2026: The Puppetry Parade

Sponsored by Arts New Orleans

Three nights of art, light and celebration are coming to downtown New Orleans as LUNA Fête returns November 13–15 from 5–10 p.m. nightly. The nation’s largest and longest-running projection mapping festival stretches across six blocks, from Gallier Hall to Piazza d’Italia.

This year’s theme, “The Puppetry Parade,” brings towering illuminated puppets, glowing sculptures, large-scale projection mapping and live performances to the city’s historic public spaces. Visitors can browse an arts market, enjoy family-friendly activities and follow puppet processions throughout the festival grounds.

Presented by the Arts Council of New Orleans, doing business as Arts New Orleans, LUNA Fête has brought local, national and international artists together through light, art and technology since 2014. Most festival activities are free and open to the public, with ticketed options available and a suggested donation encouraged.
