See Molly Taylor and Ship of Fools at Spanish Moon
Local Alt-Rock songstress Molly Taylor takes the stage Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Spanish Moon along with local indie outfit Ship of Fools. The show starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are $7. RVSP and get more information.
This will be the last time Taylor performs with her full band before the upcoming release of her first LP Butterfly Woman, which is currently being recorded at The Legendary Noise Floor in Baton Rouge with producer/engineer John Tulley. The album is slated for a late summer/early fall release.
“I want to take this new album back to my roots,” Taylor says. “It has a lot of old country/folk tunes with a hint of rock n roll, Janis Joplin vibes. I feel that with the new record. I’m mixing all the different areas of my personality and making music that is me and only me.”
