See Generationals at Spanish Moon

An indie rock band from New Orleans returns to the Capital City before hitting the road. Generationals will perform Thursday at Spanish Moon. Doors open at 9 p.m. Cymbals Eat Guitars and Arum Rae will kick off the show. Tickets are $13 online. Generationals is a duo comprised of Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer. The band released its fourth studio album, Alix, in mid-September, which was produced by Richard Swift in Cottage Grove, Oregon. With 10 tracks of pop rock, Alix is the sound of a confident band that is playing up to its subtly sexy strengths. This local show will be one of their last Louisiana performances before embarking on a tour through the U.S. and Canada this fall. For more information, visit generationals.com.
