Movie picks: Carrey and Daniels return in ‘Dumb and Dumber To’
Just when you thought they couldn’t possibly be any dumber…
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are back as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne in the sequel to the 1994 comedy hit Dumb and Dumber. This weekend’s big release, Dumb and Dumber To, won’t win Oscars, but Lord Almighty, it looks hilarious. Set 20 years after Harry and Lloyd went to Aspen to deliver a briefcase to Mary “Samsonite” Swanson, the duo is now trying to find Harry’s adopted daughter. Joining the gang is Rob Riggle, who plays a man named Travis. Directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, this sequel will hopefully erase the bad memories of the 2003 prequel, Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, which got bad reviews and worse box office receipts. Rated PG-13. View the trailer below.
