Carencro’s own Marc Broussard kicks off the fall series of downtown concerts. Broussard will perform Friday at The Crest at Galvez Plaza in North Boulevard’s Town Square. Jason Martin will open. Festivities are 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Broussard released a new album, A Life Worth Living, this summer. The latest release is a return to Broussard’s roots as a soulful singer-songwriter. Martin, a local rock ‘n’ roller, also released a new EP, Welcome Home, recently. Friday’s concert is free. No pets, ice chests or tents are allowed.
