Bayou Country Superfest lineup announced
Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton added to next year’s Bayou Country Superfest
Organizers of Bayou Country Superfest announced the lineup for next year’s festivities today. The 2015 event will feature headlining performances from Kenny Chesney Saturday, May 23, and Blake Shelton Sunday, May 24. Though organizers with the event sent out a release about Taylor Swift performing Friday, May 22, a spokesperson with Bayou Country Superfest says Swift’s appearance in Tiger Stadium is a stand-alone event that is part of her 1989 World Tour.
Saturday’s slate of performers also includes Brantley Gilbert, Tyler Farr, Colt Ford and Kristian Bush. On Sunday, attendees can see Miranda Lambert, Kip Moore, David Nail and Cassadee Pope. Tickets will go on sale next Thursday and can be purchased at bayoucountrysuperfest.com and axs.com, or by calling 1-888-611-8184. Two-day stadium level seats start at $45 per day. Field level seats start at $95 per day. Single-day tickets may go on sale in the future, pending availability. Children under 2 years old are admitted free.

The official Fan Fest & Tailgate Party will also return this year, featuring music, food and more. Details have yet to be released on this part of the festival.
Bayou Country Superfest producer/director Quint Davis is excited to see Chesney return to the Capital City.
“Nobody has rocked Tiger Stadium better than the electric Kenny Chesney,” Davis says in a press release. “Welcoming him back, along with the dynamic Brantley Gilbert, will prove once again there’s nothing like a Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. Sunday night will be the history-making pairing of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert on the same night, a can’t-miss concert in America.”
The 2015 festival will be the two-day event’s seventh year. Last year, the event expanded to three days of music and welcomed George Strait—who performed as part of his farewell tour on Friday night—and Reba McEntire.
