Zoroona introduces new menu items
A local Mediterranean market and grill is making updates to its menu. Zoroona (6900-D Siegen Ln.), a high-end Greek and Lebanese restaurant that opened in March, has added a few entrées, sides and more. The restaurant is now offering Arayes, a dish with toasted pita bread cut in quarters and stuffed with ground beef and spices, served with a side of hummus. Patrons can also enjoy the Mediterranean Sea dish, which features grilled salmon or tilapia topped with jumbo shrimp over a bed of Basmati rice and grilled vegetables. Other additions include a Shawarma chicken Caesar wrap, Zoroona’s rose burger, served on a rosemary bun, and rose “sandwishee” (sandwich), served with your choice of gyro or chicken or beef Shawarma. New starters include Torshi, or mixed pickles, and new sides include grilled asparagus and garlic roasted potatoes. Mint and sage hot tea were also added to the beverage list. A Cinnamon Delight dish with toasted cinnamon pita chips and three scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with fruit is now available for dessert as well. Zoroona is open Monday-Thursday 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Call 421-8233 for more information.
