Tiger Deaux-nuts now offering breakfast sandwiches

And they’re glorious.

Hot off its Mid City debut earlier this year, Tiger Deaux-nuts has been bringing some interesting donut creations to its new location at 5162 Government St.

So far, the shop has offered flavors such as vanilla jalapeño and chocolate ganache with Bailey’s Irish Cream filling. Another recent creation is the red velvet cake donut. But perhaps the biggest show stopper is the shop’s new breakfast sandwiches.

Owner Jeff Herman started offering them about two weeks ago. The items come with your choice of boudin, sausage or bacon and also feature an egg and melted cheddar cheese on a sugary, crispy, fried bun. It makes the McGriddle seem absolutely childish. The sandwiches start at $5.
